Taiwan's pop singers are marching into the theatres and stadiums of Beijing in the first half of 2010.
About two thirds of the Beijing concerts that have been announced will be presented by Taiwan's performers, according to information on the ticketing website Piao.com.cn.
At the end of this month, the three-member band F.I.R will celebrate their fifth anniversary at the Beijing Exhibition Theatre on March 27.
Vying for audiences on the same day at the Capital Stadium is a variety gig hosted by popular television duo Dee Hsu and Kevin Tsai and starring a group of singers such as Wakin Chau, Fahrenheit and Mavis Fan.
Two veteran songstresses, Sandy Lam and Mei Chen Pan, will hit the road in April.

In addition to her classical hits, Pan will also perform part of a musical in which she plays an ancient male general. A female lead is now wanted for this part, the Beijing Times reported.
"An actress who has a background in dancing and stage performance is required, preferably one with kung fu skills," the organizer was quoted as saying.
The alternative band Mayday is scheduled to rock the Worker's Stadium on May 2 as part of their new 'DNA' world tour, followed by Angela Chang and Rene Liu at the Capital Stadium on May 15 and May 29 respectively.
Angela Chang's 2010 tour show is to be titled "The Moon of Pandora", after one of her hit songs.
Pop king Jay Chou will return to music to launch a world tour in June after a year of directing and acting. The Beijing leg of the tour is slated for July 3 at the Worker's Stadium.
