Tickets are selling fast for Chinese mainland performances of Taiwan pop singer Jay Chou's The Era 2010 World Tour that kicked off earlier this week with three shows in Taipei.
Full of color, costumes and pageantry, the show combines three main elements - futuristic electronic music, hip-hop and Chou's signature love songs.

According to organizers, Chou is promising a special treat for Beijing and Shanghai shows, with his much-loved grandmother, for whom he dedicated his popular song, "Wai Po" (Grandmother), scheduled to appear on stage beside him, if her health permits.
Beijing will also see the release of the full-length music video for Chou's new song "New Era." Chou's mainland stops include Shanghai on June 25, Beijing on July 3 and Tianjin on July 10.
