"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe will star in "The Woman in Black," a big-screen adaptation of Susan Hill's best-selling novel, according to AFP reports.
Radcliffe, 20, will begin filming this October after completing his work on the finale to "Harry Potter."
He will play Arthur Kipps, a lawyer who travels to a village to settle the estate of a deceased client and discovers that the place is haunted by the ghost of a scorned woman out for revenge.

The film will be directed by "Eden Lake" director James Watkins.
Radcliffe was "incredibly excited" about his new movie, saying, "Jane Goldman's script is beautifully written - both tender and terrifying in equal measure."
"It is thrilling to be working with James Watkins. From his brilliant work on Eden Lake and also having met him and heard his vision for the film, I know he will make a fantastic film."
