Nine foreign language films including "In a Better World," a Danish film which won an honor at the Golden Globe Awards, will advance to the second phase of the Academy Awards nominations as the organizers announced the shortlisted films Wednesday.
Aside from the Danish film, other films which make the list of the best foreign language films are: "Hor la Loi" (Algeria); " Incendies" (Canada); "Dogtooth" (Greece); "Confession"(Japan); " Biufiful"(Mexico); "Life, about All" (South Africa); "Tambien la Lluvia" (Spain) and "Simple Simon" from Sweden.
