China's oil demand will rise 4.5 percent annually till 2015, the
nation's largest oil company said yesterday.?
Demand may reach 515 million metric tons by 2015 from 346
million tons in 2006, the CNPC Research Institute of Economics and
Technology, the think-tank of China National Petroleum Corp,
said.
Gasoline demand may rise to 76.7 million tons by 2015 and
kerosene demand may double to 23.3 million tons, it said. Diesel
demand may climb 5.7 percent annually to 192.1 million tons and
fuel oil demand may gain 2.4 percent annually to 59.26 million
tons, according to the statement.
