China would continue to implement the moderately easy monetary policy and strive to improve the focus and flexibility of the policy, the People's Bank of China, the central bank, said Thursday.
The central bank would focus more on balancing the work to maintain a stable and comparatively fast economic growth, adjust economic structure and manage inflationary prospects, it said in a quarterly report posted on its website.
The country's economy was likely to maintain the stable and comparatively fast growth momentum in 2010 despite challenges from both home and abroad, it said.
