Beijing is carrying out a 100-day recruitment campaign to promote employment in the city, according to municipal authorities.
The campaign targets college graduates, potential labor force in rural areas, unemployed workers in urban areas, as well as migrate workers in Beijing. It will organize online recruitment activities, and provide job coaching and training.
Notably, the campaign will hold live-streaming events that provide information on job openings, host Q&A sessions, and collect job applications. The campaign will also hold industry-specific recruitment rounds, including the internet industry, health and medicine fields, consumer services, and logistics and express delivery.
The campaign will invite job coaches to provide online lectures for college graduates and other groups, with a focus on job seeking skills, career planning, psychological consulting, and employment and entrepreneurship policies. It will also organize job skills training sessions online for free.
The campaign will last through Aug. 25.
