As an important node in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, Ziyang city in southwestern China's Sichuan province, has been promoting local products in the world market.

With the number of local foreign trade enterprises exceeding 100, the city's foreign trade exports are growing steadily in recent years. Its annual foreign trade of goods, including smart two-wheelers and lemons, has reached 4.06 billion yuan ($556.4 million), according to Ziyang Commerce Bureau.

To further expand the international market, Ziyang actively organizes enterprises to participate in international exhibitions and economic and trade activities. For example, the city government successfully held a special promotion session for Ziyang at the 136th Canton Fair.

The Sichuan provincial cross-border e-commerce platform has also been launched in Ziyang, providing local enterprises with more convenient and efficient access to foreign markets.

Smart two-wheelers produced by Keeway's Ziyang Linkong factory have completed 12 orders through Alibaba's international e-commerce platform.

Keeway Ziyang's sales this year have exceeded 147 million yuan, and its electric motorcycle export business ranks first in the country. It is one of the four pilot units for the intelligent classification standard of electric motorcycles in the country, and has participated in the compilation of the national intelligent classification standard for electric motorcycles.

The Keeway Group has its own factories and sales networks overseas, covering 105 countries, ensuring that it can flexibly adjust its market strategy to cope with fluctuations in different markets.

CRRC Ziyang is a leading Chinese internal combustion engine exporter. The company has exported more than 1,100 diesel locomotives to 34 countries around the world, accounting for more than 50% of China's total diesel locomotive exports.

Especially in the African market, CRRC Ziyang's performance is particularly outstanding, becoming China's rail transit equipment company with the widest coverage of diesel locomotives, the largest number of products and the most complete types.

BOMESIN in Ziyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone has dental chairs and oral scanners as its core products, and has been exported to more than 20 countries and regions including Germany, Switzerland, and Norway. In the future, the company will promote digital transformation and the research and development of AI intelligent oral technology.

As a representative of lemon export enterprises in Ziyang, Freshshu mainly exports its lemon products to the Middle East, Russia, Canada and Southeast Asia. The company has established its global headquarters in Dubai recently.

The Ziyang city government will continue to increase its support for enterprises, optimize local business environment, and provide strong support for local enterprises to go global. The government is confident that with the development of Belt and Road Initiative and the continuous development of global trade, the "made in Ziyang" will usher in a new chapter featuring broader market space and better development prospects.
