At least 11 workers were trapped under a flooded coal mine in north China's Shanxi Province Thursday, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 8 a.m. at the Donggou Coal Mine run by the Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group in Zezhou County of Jincheng city.
Rescue work is going on.
Further details are not immediately known.
