Thirteen people are dead after a landslide in northwest China's Gansu Province early Saturday.
A total of 15 people were buried in the landslide at 1:40 a.m. at Huating County, Pingliang City, said a statement from the provincial government's emergency response office.
Rescuers had found all those buried in the debris by 6 a.m. and taken them to hospital where 13 later died. The other two were showing normal vital signs, it said.
The workers were dredging a local river when 3,000 cubic meters of debris came crushing down, it said.
