Macao's Education and Youth Affairs Bureau said Tuesday that its Education Development Fund will help qualified local private schools to upgrade their computers for teaching.
The project has a total budget of 67 million patacas (8.38 million U.S. dollars), and only non-profit private schools are eligible for the funding, according to the Bureau.
The government of Macao Special Administrative Region has already spent over 228 million patacas (28.5 million dollars) promoting information technology education among these schools, the Bureau said.
