Drink driving is believed to have killed four people in a traffic accident in Beijing late Wednesday, police said Thursday.
A sedan carrying four people lost control and overturned in the city's Chaoyang District at about 10:58 p.m.
The four were thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. The vehicle was destroyed.
The victims, aged 21 to 32 years, were a restaurant boss and his three employees.
Tests revealed alcohol in all of the victims' blood samples.
As of Jan. 29, the Chinese capital has had nine drink driving-related accidents this year. The accidents have left 14 dead.
