The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress opened its bimonthly session in Beijing on Wednesday, where it will be reading over a series of drafts, law amendments and reports.
In the three-day session, lawmakers will read draft decisions on amending several articles of the Coal Law and Construction Law, as well as draft amendments to the Road Traffic Safety Law and the Individual Income Tax Law.
Legislators are also scheduled to read the draft law on administrative coercion for the fourth time.
During the session, lawmakers will examine the State Council's reports on the reform of the country's collective forest rights system and the law publicity and education program.
