As the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) approaches, the International Communication Office of the CPC Central Committee announced on Monday that it will hold a series of news conferences for domestic and international media on the Party's history.
The office will also invite officials from various departments and institutions, such as the Organization Department and the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, to the news conferences.
Among the topics discussed will be the CPC's organization and ideology, its work to educate and train officials, its history and its theoretical research, the statement said.
The office also plans to invite journalists to Yan'an city, Shaanxi province, to visit historic sites and discuss the Party's training activities. Yan'an was the CPC's headquarters from 1935 to 1948.
