Education is expected to be hot topic for the Beijing delegates.
I will propose that more measures be taken to reduce the students' burden, and create a better environment for them to grow up, Wu Zhengxian, NPC delegate and director of the Primary School Maths Teaching and Research Office at the Basic Education Research Center with the Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences, said.
Wu added that it's also important for society to pay more attention to those teachers working in rural areas.
Zhu Liangyu, NPC delegate and manager assistant with Beijing Security Services Company, was the first to register for the first session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature.

"I will present my proposals on promoting the healthy development of China's security industry during the session", Zhu said.
The man, who became a security guard in 1993 after he came to the capital city to make a better living, said that he had conducted sufficient surveys on the local security industry since he found out he had been elected NPC delegate.
Zhu said, 150 out of the 152 security services companies in Beijing are privately held. Most of the 300,000 security personnel in the city need to raise their living standards.
"80 percent of security personnel live in the underground apartments, with an average monthly income of 1.500 yuan to 2,300 yuan", Zhu said, adding that they also have a low social status.
To improve security personnel's livelihood, Zhu said he will suggest that administrations for social security, taxation plus industry and commerce, stage some preferential policies for the security services companies. He also hoped that development and reform commission could draw up practical guidelines regarding the employment remuneration for security personnel.
The 55 delegates from Beijing, with the exception of one who had asked for leave due to illness, had completed registration for the session by noon of March 3.
Last year, 62 delegates from the city attended the NPC annual session.
