Stephon Marbury scored season-high 38 points as defending champions Beijing Ducks snapped Shandong Gold's five-match winning streak with a 105-98 victory in Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League on Friday.
"The opponent is a tough team, but I always believe that we can beat them at last," said Marbury.

It was Marbury's show in the second half. Every time Shandong came back into the game, the former NBA star stood up to hold on the advantage for the home team.

Shandong's guard Jeter finished with 28 points, and Sun Jie contributed 20.
Yi Jianlian scored 41 points to led Guangdong Hongyuan to a 107-93 win over Dongguan Marco Polo for their fifth straight victory.
Yi was not the only star as Hudson had a game-high 51 points for Dongguan.
