Maritime search and rescue exercise in Yantai

| A maritime search and rescue exercise was conducted in Yantai on June 25. One ro-ro passenger ship, one rescue ship and two marine law enforcement ships participated in the exercise. The exercise consisted of a fire drill, in which the rescue ship conducted towing operations of the ro-ro passenger ship. It is the first time that the rescue exercise was carried out during navigation in the Bohai Bay. The exercise aimed at improving the emergency rescue ability of the ro-ro passenger ship. [Xinhua] |
