Tips on disinfection (Part 3)
There is no need to disinfect your hands all the time.
Germs can always be found on your hands and are easy to pick up. Therefore, it is unnecessary to disinfect your hands too much too often.
When should you disinfect your hands?
You should do that after having close contact with patients, when returning to your workplace or home from outside, or if you need to touch food with your hands. More often than not, it is enough to wash your hands frequently and keep them clean.
There is usually no need to disinfect your coat after coming home from outside.
You can hang your coat near the door and change into another set of clothes once you are back home from outside. There is no need to disinfect your coat every day. However, do disinfect your coat if you have been to the hospital, visited patients or come into contact with people showing suspicious symptoms.
