Taiwan rapper Wilber Pan's new single, "Be with You", featuring American multi-platinum selling rapper Akon, was released Monday via Taiwan's Hit FM radio station.
The track, off Pan's latest album, "007", was recorded earlier this year in Tokyo, Japan, when the foot-injury-plagued singer returned from a 40-day hiatus, according to a press release from Universal Music.
Pan brought a Chinese jacket, traditional Taiwan puppets and a piece of colorful glazed artwork as gifts for Akon. The hip-hop stars apparently had a good time working together – Akon even suggested Pan go on tour with him and invited Pan to his home in Atlanta.
"007", so named because it's Pan's seventh album, will be released on May 22, with pre-order starting May 1.
