The USA must stop immidiatly our spy-operation near china coast. EP3 mean that USA is not so invincible; the US plane stay in the territory of People's republic of China, it must stay there!

I think the U.S. should stop the flights altogether, because that's very provocative, even though, it is done in international airspace. I am sure we do not want other nations to do the same thing to us.

The best thing I think is to calmly, in a way to save face for both nations, iron out these objections quitely without things getting out of hand. There are arguements of sending fighters to safe guard the spy planes. If this happens, I think that would be tanamount to war, because the Chinese feels the event of the past when the British force the chinese to accept the treaty of canton had always been a thorn in their sides-the treaty was when the Chinese protest the sale of opium in China And the British force their way with sending an armada. In the end nobody wins in war.

US should stop sending spy planes.

Hermanto Ng, ontaiblis@yahoo.com
China no need to return the U.S. plane, instead if China send spy-plane to the U.S., that mean Chinese people kow-tow to the White-Arogancy who forgot the history of their ancestor's conduct toward Chinese and the Afro- American in the past (Slavery & Colonialism), present (racism like in Cincinnati riot and the trial of Vincent Chin's killer 1982), and in the future I believe but only in different substance (Human Rights, Democracy etc). I believe in Democracy, but only on individual country's terms, paces and the forms its choose, not by lecture, scorns and treats, or impose the whole-sale foto-copy of U.S.system to the rest of the developing-countries. If this happen, the saying of "History repeat itself" is true but only in different substance. Please wake up to all young Chinese poeple who blindly want to do whole-sale foto-copy of Anglo-American values etc. Thank you.

I believe it's China's decision. The US plane entered into Chinese territory without permission so it would be their punishment if they didn't receive the plane back.

I think the plane should NOT be returned until a full inquiry into the incident can be completed, and all the evidence being presented to a court marshal. The removal of the plane would detroy this piece of vital evidence.

In my opinion this is the most fair way to determine who were responsible in the incident. Independent experts and tribunal can be used.

I am in China's side that they should not return the plane because China has the right to protect their country the way they have to. I think that the U.S should respect China's rules and decisions. Also, that China should not be preasured by this country.

CHINA SHOULD NOT RETURN THE PLANE UNLESS THEIR IS GOOD REASON TO DO SO. THE US SHOULD STOP THESE MISSIONS IF THEY ARE SERIOUS ABOUT PEACE.

I think China should not return the US plane, and the US should stop sending spy planes close to China's coast.

But US is rich and powerful, they can always bully other poor and weaker countries with "good" reasons, just like some rich and powerful people who always think they can do everythings freely.

I will not be surprised if the plane is returned and the US continue to send spy planes around China's coast. Only a richer and more poweful China can prevent this sort of things from happening.

Personally I think, if the US could make a formal apologist to our government and the family of the pilot Wang Wei, and make sure that it won't sent the spy planes to China, we will think of return the spy plane to it.
