Greek President Costis Stephanopoulos Tuesday held talks with visiting Chinese Vice-Premier Li Lanqing on strengthening relations between the two countries.
During the talks, Li said that China and Greece are discussing the possibility of creating a mixed committee on bilateral cultural exchange and development in addition to the existing mixed committees on economy and trade and on science and technology, which will contribute to developing new areas for bilateral cooperation.
Speaking on the same occasion, Stephanopoulos said that it is a good idea to create the mixed committee, which will help promote bilateral relations.
