Building a Community of Shared Future for Global Nuclear Safety
Peaceful development and utilization of nuclear energy is an aspiration shared by all countries, and ensuring nuclear safety and security is their shared responsibility. China advocates the need for building an international nuclear safety and security system based on fairness and cooperation that benefits all. International cooperation is indispensable to improve global nuclear safety and security governance in the spirit of pragmatism. China is ready to work with the rest of the world to strengthen global nuclear safety and security, so as to build a community of shared future for global nuclear safety in a wider context of building a global community of shared future.
China has ratified all international legal instruments in the field of nuclear safety and security and is committed to strictly implementing relevant UN Security Council resolutions. China supports and participates in international initiatives on nuclear safety and security, supports the central role of the IAEA in coordinating international efforts to strengthen nuclear safety and security, and has provided a full range of support, whether political, technical or financial, to the Agency. China attaches great importance to the exchange of nuclear safety and security policies and cooperation between countries, keeping in close contact in this respect with other countries, including Russia, France, the United States, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, as well as emerging nuclear energy countries along the Belt and Road, and has signed more than 50 cooperation agreements on nuclear safety.
打造核安全命運共同體
和平開發(fā)利用核能是世界各國的共同愿望,確保核安全是世界各國的共同責任。中國倡導構建公平、合作、共贏的國際核安全體系,堅持公平原則,本著務實精神推動國際社會攜手共進、精誠合作,共同推進全球核安全治理,打造核安全命運共同體,推進構建人類命運共同體。
中國批準了核安全領域所有國際法律文書,嚴格執(zhí)行聯合國安理會決議,支持和參與核安全國際倡議。中國支持國際原子能機構在核安全國際合作中發(fā)揮核心作用,從政治、技術、資金等方面,為機構提供全方位支持。中國重視國家間的核安全政策交流與務實合作,與俄羅斯、法國、美國、日本、韓國等國家及“一帶一路”沿線核電新興國家密切溝通,簽訂了50余份核安全合作協議。
