All sides concerned should make more efforts for an early resumption of dialogue between the United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK),said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue in Beijing Thursday.
In response to a question at a regular press conference, Zhang said China's consistent stance on the DPRK nuclear issue is one of maintaining peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula. China advocates non-nuclearization in the Korean Peninsula and resolving the current tension through dialogue.
Since the parties concerned have agreed that direct vis-?-vis dialogue is the key to the problem, they should continue to make efforts for US-DPRK dialogue resumption, she said, quoting a Chinese saying that "one key unbolts one lock."
