A special chorus was set up in Zibo, Shandong Province on
October 24. Most of its participants were pregnant women.
"Looking at your face softly, and wiping out your tears," sang
by these pregnant women. It's reported that some 30 expectant
mothers attended Tuesday's activity named "Singing for your baby's
future."
Experts say that singing will help babies develop both
physically and intellectually. It can also keep fetus from
suffocation and hypoxia.
Fan Yumei, vice director of Zibo Family Planning Commission,
says it is good for pregnant women to listen to some soft music and
sing songs. Such activity not only can help relax themselves, but
also to improve their baby's hearing ability.
Experts also believe that pregnant women can communicate with
each other and learn others' experiences through such
activity.
