The Newsweek has released a list of 100 famous spots in its latest issue and predicted all of them might disappear because of global warming and tremendous changes of geography.
The most famous of them are:
1. Antarctic Peninsula
Before human beings landed on the Antarctic Peninsula, the hundreds of thousands of penguins had always been the permanent residents of this vast, extreme cold area for centuries. Studies show that the Antarctica has become one of the worst-hit areas which suffer from global warming. If the sea ice disappears, so would the penguins.
