The picture taken on Oct. 25, 2010 shows Amazon's main affluent the Black River which has got to its lowest level over the past 30 years due to a strong drought in Brazil. At least 40 of the 62 municipalities of the region are in state of emergency and 38,000 families are isolated without water, food and medicines.
