Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang on December 12, 2006 urges
all parties in the forthcoming, open-ended six-party nuclear talks
to strive for concrete progress. He announced on December 11 the
second phase of the fifth round of the six-party talks on the
Korean Peninsula nuclear issue will be resumed at the Beijing
Diaoyutai Guesthouse on December 18.
