All parties to the fourth round of six-party talks made hard
consultation on the revision of the joint document draft Monday,
but the talks were proceeded with all parties "paying respect to
each other" and holding "constructive" attitude, said a Russian
official yesterday.??
The official told reporters that the whole process of the talks
did not avoid the toughest issue. All parties came to believe that
to seek solution to the toughest issue is a shared wish for
all.
Speaking highly of the role China has played in the talks, he
said the Chinese side "appropriately" and "skillfully" led the
talks onto a constructive road.
The six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue have
entered the seventh day yesterday. Sources with the Chinese
delegation said chief negotiators of all delegations made intensive
consultation and contact, had in-depth discussion on the joint
document, and simultaneously held consultation on the working
level.
