Japanese chief negotiator Kenichiro Sasae said today that the draft common document was still under intense debate.??

Sasae told reporters this morning that the six parties to the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue would continue discussing the draft common document and all the participants would work together to achieve a good result.

 

The Japanese side would put national interests into the common document, he said, adding no bilateral consultation had been held so far between Japan and North Korea during the ongoing six-party talks.
