Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang has called for making greater efforts in pushing forward medical and health system reform to bring real benefits to the people.
We must take concrete steps to fulfil the reform tasks so as to bring real benefits to the people, provide incentives to the medical staff, attract the participation of various circles and make a good start for establishing a complete basic medical and health system, Li said at a recent meeting on the reform.
Li, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Central Committee's Political Bureau, said accelerating the reform serves a variety of purposes, namely stimulating growth, bringing benefits to the people, increasing investment and expanding consumption.
