The total of confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases in Canada has risen to 7,983, with 208 new cases added during the past three days, according to the latest figures released by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) Monday.
Two more persons have died of the virus, bringing the total victims of the flu in Canada to 25.
The number of patients that require hospitalization has increased to 636, with 140 cases added during the past three days.
Almost all of the worst-hit provinces, including British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, did not report their numbers Monday as they are now reporting case counts on a weekly basis on Friday.
Ontario province is still the worst-hit, with 3,161 confirmed cases, followed by Quebec with 1,834.
