Also wearing Marchesa was Colombian bombshell Sofia Vergara, in a magenta strapless fitted mermaid gown.
George Clooney's arm candy, Stacy Kiebler, was another fan - with a black lace fishtail number.
Global fashionista Angelina Jolie kept her look simple in a beautifully black draped gown by one of her favorite designers.

Angelina Jolie said, "It's Jenny Packham and I always liked vintage jewelry, I don't often wear it and I liked these pieces when I saw them."
SAG nominee Glenn Close also chose to go with black.
