Adjust font size:

Hong Kong fencer Chow Tsz Ki said on Saturday that she would focus on being a professional athlete after the Beijing Olympics in a bid to achieve better results at the 2012 Games in London.

"I will keep on fencing after the Olympics since I like it. I'm looking forward to the London Games," the 26-year-old told reporters after losing 15-5 to China's Bao Yingying in the women's saber second round.

"I was too nervous to compete just now against Bao, I don't think I had given my full play in the match," she added.

Chow, whose profession is a compture engineer, is making her third appearance at the Olympics in Beijing.

"From now on, I will become a full-time fencer. I want to compete in London four years later," she said.
