A passenger presents his 1-yuan-priced ticket on the train 7266 in central China's Hunan Province, April 11, 2021. The 7265/7266/7267 trains started operation back in 1995, stretching more than 300 kilometers from Huaihua Station to Lixian Station. The trains pass 37 stops along the way in 9 hours and 16 minutes. The ticket prices range from 1 yuan to 23.5 yuan(about 0.15-3.59 U.S. dollars), which have not been raised in 26 years. The trains run through the Wuling Mountains. Thanks to them, villagers can not only carry fruits, vegetables and other local products out for sale, but also meet the outside world. Although China's railway system has made great progress in recent years, many similar railway lines remain unchanged to meet the special needs of people in remote areas. [Photo/Xinhua]
