Former International Olympic Committee president Juan Antonio Samaranch was sent to hospital for medical checks on Tuesday.
Samaranch, 89, did not feel well at the Sportel international sports television festival before he was taken to Princess Grace Hospital Center in Monaco.
Samaranch spokeswoman Annie Inchauspe later said it was not serious but "a slight reaction to fatigue".
The Spaniard was the IOC president from 1980 to 2001 before succeeded by Jacques Rogge.
