Wang Xinyu of China won the gold medal of women's 400m freestyle with a time of four minutes and 11.84 seconds at the 5th East Asian Games on Wednesday.

The silver medal was taken by Kazuki Wakanami of Japan at 4:13.62 and Au Hoi Shun of Hong Kong, China, won the bronze medal at 4:14.58.
