Zimbabwe and Germany signed on Wednesday a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in soccer.
Under the agreement, German coach Klaus-Dieter Pagels will come to work in Zimbabwe for two years and provide technical expertise in the development of youth soccer. He will also be involved in administration of sport, as well as assisting in the development of five-a-side soccer and the training of coaches and referees.
Zimbabwe's minister of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture David Coltart said the agreement will help lay a solid foundation for soccer development in the country.
