China Star Diving Series to start on Aug. 7

China Star Diving Series will be held here on Aug. 7, attracting many Olympic champions from the national team.
The two-day tournament features four events - 3m springboard and 10m platform for men and women.
All the divers are the top eight from the 2010 Diving National Championship and the Olymipic Games, and also the athletes from the 2010 FINA Diving Grand Prix.
The diving stars will include He Chong, and Huo Liang, the Beijing Olympics gold medalists, and He Zi, champion of women's 3m springboard Synchro in FINA Diving World Cup.
The top eight of the series will get the prize of 800,000 yuan (119,402 U.S. dollars), according to the swimming administrative center of State General Administration of Sport.
Dubbed as the "Dream Team", the Chinese divers collected seven gold medals at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.
