Vettel beats Webber to Hungarian Grand Prix pole position

Sebastian Vettel of Germany broke Michael Schumacher's six-year-old record to claim his fourth straight pole position and seventh of the season on Saturday for the 2010 Hungarian Grand Prix.
Red Bull Racing dominated Saturday's qualifying at the Hungaroring track outside Budapest. Vettel's pole position gives the Red Bull team their 11th pole from 12 races this season.
Vettel had been quickest in Friday's practice but his Australian teammate Mark Webber was fastest in the last practice round. Vettel comfortably beat Webber in qualifying however, by more than four tenths of a second.
The German was the only driver to break the 1 minute 19 second barrier, posting a pole lap of 1 minute 18.773 seconds which broke the lap record of 1 minute 19.071 seconds, held by his compatriot Schumacher for six years.
Webber's time of 1 minute 19.184 seconds puts him in second place for Sunday's race.
Back eight tenths of a second in third place, Ferrari's Fernando Alonso posted a best lap of 1 minute 19.987 seconds. His Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa, who suffered a serious injury at the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix, came fourth, with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton in fifth more than 1.5 seconds behind the Red Bulls.
Nico Rosberg will start Sunday's race in sixth place ahead of Renault pair Vitaly Petrov and Robert Kubica in seventh and eight positions on the grid respectively.
Hamilton's McLaren colleague Jenson Button starts only in 11th position.
