National Basketball Association star Allen Iverson has drawn interests from a Chinese team, his agent Gary Moore said on Monday.
Moore said a Chinese team, whose name he declined to provide, contacted the former NBA MVP last month, according to an AFP report.
Iverson, 35, has yet to get any calls from the NBA which opens training camps in two weeks.
"We're very astonished, to say the least, that not one team has contacted us with any interest," Moore was quoted as saying by the AFP. "I just don't understand it."
If Iverson heads to China he would follow former all-star Stephon Marbury who played last season for Shanxi Zhongyu of the Chinese Basketball Association.
Iverson, the former first overall draft pick in 1996, played just three games for Memphis last year before being shipped to Philadelphia.
Iverson is 17th on the NBA's career scoring list with 24,368 points.
