The host to the 2010 Homeless World Cup of street soccer on the beach of Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil won in both the men's and the women's competition on Sunday.
64 countries competed in the tournament, raising awareness for homeless people throughout the world through street soccer.
The Brazilian boy's team beat out Chile 6-0, dethroning the previous winner, Ukraine. Ukraine settled in third place after beating the Palestines 6-4.
The Brazilian girl's team beat Mexico by the score of 7-3. Austria finished in third place after beating Lithuania 5-4.
The international tournament is in its eighth edition. This year's event took place from September 19 to September 26.
