Former Argentine coach Diego Maradona continued his words crossfire on Friday with the country's soccer govening body chief, threatening to take legal action.
Maradona insisted that he's now drug and alcohol free, after Julio Grondona, president of Argentine football association, hinted a day before that Maradona's moodiness was because of using drugs.
"I am not going to go on about Grondona. I am going directly to see my lawyers to start an action after all he has said. He has lost control," Maradona was quoted by the Clarin newspaper.
On Thursday, the 79-year-old Grondona said about Maradona: "One day he (Maradona) loves you, the next he hates you. There are reasons for this, we all know what they are."
Maradona, who has been at loggerheads against Grondona since he was deposed as coach, hit back on Friday, saying "I haven't taken anything for six years, not even a glass of wine."
