  Chinese boxer Ren Cancan claimed the first women's boxing gold medal from the 51kg event at the Guangzhou Asiad on Thursday. World champion Ren beat Albania Annie of the Philippines 7-5 in the final. Hmangte Chungneijang Mary Kom of India and Shinmoto Aya of Japan settled for the bronze.
