Shandong win but Suwon mauls Shenhua

A?hat-trick by striker Ha Tae-Goon propelled South Korea's Suwon Bluewings to an impressive 4-0 defeat of Shanghai Shenhua in the Asian Champions League yesterday.
The 23-year-old showed why he is regarded as one of the rising stars of Korean football by scoring in the 3rd, 61st and 75th minutes. Midfielder Oh Jang-Eun added a goal in 43rd to propel the two-time competition champion to the top of Group H. The group's other scheduled fixture between Kashima Antlers and Sydney was postponed due to the Japan earthquake.
It was a good night for Korean sides, as in Group G, Jeonbuk Motors won 4-0 away at Indonesia's Arema to make it two wins from two games. The 2006 Champions League winner went to the top of Group G after Japan's Cerezo Osaka lost 0-2 away at China's Shandong Luneng.
Midfielder Kim Ji-Woong put Jeonbuk ahead in the 26th minute, and the visitors piled on three goals between the 78th and 88th minutes; the first from Chinese midfielder Huang Bowen then two more from Brazilian Luiz Henrique.
Arema remains without a point from two games.
Shandong Luneng's goals came from Brazilian defender Renato Silva in the 22nd and Wang Yangpo in the 33rd and they held on despite Cui Peng being sent off in the 83rd.
