French guard Rodrigue Beaubois, who won a NBA championship with Dallas earlier this month, has undergone surgery on his left foot, the National Basketball Association club said on Monday.
The 23-year-old from Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe, underwent surgery for the second time since fracturing his left foot while training with the French national team last summer.
Doctors performed the operation on Monday but the Mavericks didn't go into specifics about the length of the rehab for the second-year pro. They said he is expected to make a full recovery.
The injury caused Beaubois to miss most of last season, when he was expected to be a key contributor. Dallas beat the Miami Heat in six games in the NBA finals with Beaubois sitting out the games.
