Usain Bolt of Jamaica, the world's fastest man, sprinted into the men's 200m final with a time of 20.31 seconds on Friday night's semifinal at the Daegu World Championships.
Despite the surprising and sensational disqualification on Sunday's night in the men's 100m final, the 25-year-old man seemed very much unaffected and relaxed.
In both the semifinal and Friday morning's qualifying round, he continued to entertain spectators at the Daegu stadium in his usual fashion. With the camera on him and the in-stadium huge screens featuring him, Bolt used his hands to sort out his hair style, pointed to left and right, and then shaked his head.
The crowd responded with thunderous cheers and hundreds of South Korean girls in the stadium screamed badly loudly.
After the starting gun fire of the semifinal, he set off at a blistering pace, sprinted ahead, took the lead until the finish line -- an easy win and a place in the final.
"I am feeling all right. I am focused on getting everything done. I am happy with myself. Expect always the best from me. I always go out there and do my best," he told reporters after the semifinal.
Bolt also won the qualifying rounds with a leading time of 20.30sec on Friday morning.
The men's 200m final will take place at 1220 GMT on Saturday, when the world will put attention on him again.
Sunday's disqualification marked an end to his ambition to snatch another sprint double in the 100m and 200m, after his legendary wins in Berlin two years ago.
At the Berlin World Championships, Bolt created the world records in the 100m and 200m, 9.58sec and 19.19sec, respectively.
