The Dallas Mavericks have recalled forward Yi Jianlian from their D-League affiliate, the Texas Legends.
Yi is expected to join the Mavericks for Tuesday night's game against the Pistons in Detroit.
Yi was signed by the Mavericks as a free agent on Jan. 6 and then was assigned to the Texas Legends. Yi averaged 23 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in two games with the Legends.
The former Chinese Basketball Association standout was picked sixth overall by Milwaukee in the 2007 NBA draft. In his 242 NBA games, Yi has averaged 8.5 points and 5.3 rebounds a game.
