Philippe Troussier
Troussier, known as the "White Witch Doctor", is vastly experienced and has managed around the world, including spells with South Africa, Nigeria, Qatar and Japan. He guided Japan to AFC Asian Cup glory in 2000 and the last 16 of the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
Struggling CSL side Shenzhen Ruby turned to the Frenchman in February 2011 hoping that his appointment would turn their fortunes around. However, in Troussier's first season, the former CSL champions were relegated to the second division. Troussier, having received the backing of the club's president, is still coaching the team and currently battling to regain CSL status.
