The visiting Shandong Luneng have extended their winning streak
to two at the 2006 table tennis China Super League after sweeping
Sichuan 3-0.
The second round of the women's league matches on Tuesday saw
the defending women's champions embark on a strong start. Former
national player Jiang Huajun managed to win her match against
Sichuan's Wang Shan after a fierce contest.
Jiang's victory has greatly boosted Shandong's morale, as her
teammates took the second singles and the third doubles
matches.
