Han Peng scored twice as China Super League champion Shandong
Luneng hammered Vietnamese side Dong Tam Long An 4-0 in Jinan,
Shandong, to move five points clear at the top of Group G of the
AFC Champions League on Wednesday.

Han gave the home side the lead three minutes before the break
and extended the advantage with his second of the game early in the
second half.
Wang Yongpo and Li Jinyu also found the net against the hapless
Vietnamese side, which was reduced to 10 men in the closing minutes
when skipper Phan Van-giau was sent off following a reckless
challenge on Cui Peng.
Shandong dominated the game but struggled to find a way past
giant Brazilian goalkeeper Santos in the opening half.
In the 42nd minute when Serbian midfielder Aleksandar Zivkovic
lofted a through ball to Cui Peng, who cut the ball back to the
center where an unmarked Han Peng easily slotted home the opening
goal.
In another match, Urawa Reds pushed Chinese Super League side
Shanghai Shenhua towards the brink of the AFC Champions League
elimination with a 1-0 win in Saitama, Japan, yesterday
evening.
Close-season signing Yuki Abe scored the only goal of the game
two minutes before half time when he headed Robson Ponte’s free
kick past Wang Dalei to move Reds onto seven points from three
games, three clear of Sydney FC.
